September 2025

Congrats to my  student Jonas Lau who had good and steady performance  among strong  player in recent tournament. Jonas Lau winning the 3rd place in KCA Rapid Open 2025 VIII (FIDE Rated) Sept 21st. Looks like Jonas is progressing well with steady and upward performance after his leap. Keep it up

August 2025

1. Congrats to my students who had excellent performance in recent tournaments:

a) Jonas Lau winning the first place in Caissa Back to School Rapid 2025 (August 24th) U8/U10 tournament, with 6 straight wins. 

b) Trevor Yim winning the first place in  Caissa Back to School Rapid 2025 (August 24th) U12/U14 tournament, with 6 straight wins. 

Both did well with six straight wins -landslide victory and hope they can do it again in future events. Keep it up. Details

2. Oasis最近與深圳智騰棋院進行第一次交流賽。首先非常感謝智騰 派出 隊員，遠渡而來，不辭勞苦來到香港比賽，完成一個既開心又有啟發的活動。今次 智騰隊員，贏得此次比賽冠軍 。而Oasis 僥倖人均實力較平均，贏到交流賽金獎。各有所得，平分秋色。希望今次比賽，賽員能從交流賽體驗自己不足之處 ，改善弱點，自我提升，下次會做得更好。 Details

July 2025

Congrats to my  student Lincoln Or who had good performance winning  a second place in The Chinese University of Hong Kong Chess Open Higher Primary Sector. He did well in the first 6 round with a six point lead, but had a miss on his 7th round. Got to learn how to handle the last round to get a higher place next time.  Keep it up. Details

Congrats to newly joined student Jonas Lau who had excellent performance today winning champion 2025 King's Cup Chess Elite and YCA selection . He' s happy to have some Breakthru after all with my training. Keep it up. Details

May 2025

1. Congrats to my student Caden Kong who had excellent performance last Sunday winning u9 group champion in KIS Championship 2025 Bangkok. he's thrilled as this is his first ever champion won in a major school tournament. Keep it up Caden. Details

2. Lovely Guo Natalia has recently come for training and it’s good to have some breakthrough, winning the Champion ( 二級棋士名銜) in China 2nd Grade Competition. Congrats.

小女孩古向甜最近來OASIS 進行訓練. 剛剛在國內比賽有突破, 贏了冠軍, 拿了二級棋士名銜。恭喜恭喜. 繼續努力. Details

3. Congrats to my student Wong Hoi Cheung Alfie who had good  performance winning upper primary group 2nd place in HKCF Inter school tournament. 

Alfie had 5 wins and 2 draws, and no loss. Very promising result. Well done - keep it up. Details

4. Congrats to my student Liu Zhizhun  who had good performance today  winning u7 group 2nd place in Caissa Scholastic open tournament    .

Lincoln Or got a 4 th place and Wong Hoi Cheung  6th place in u11 group. 

Christopher Yeoh got a third place in u13 group award.

5. 2025 Summer Camp is available for registration : Information and Registration

6. Congrats to my student Caden Kong who had good performance last week winning u9 group 2nd place in Bangkok International School Tournament . He is thrilled as this is his first ever big trophy won in a tournament. Once he started training with Oasis, he had this leap from 4th to 7 th place to 1st runner up. Caden had pretty solid performance with 4 wins / 2 draws and no loss. Keep it up Caden. Details

7. Congrats to my students Lincoln Or and Cheng Tsz In who had excellent performance today winning board prize champion and 2nd place in 炎黃鼎全港國際象棋隊際賽. Details
